A very brief bio.
Born in Cape Town, 1964.
All locations South Africa unless otherwise specified.
1986-1991: Established screen-printing, design and sewing cooperative which subsequently became part of a larger NGO (East Cape Rural Industries). Trained members to take control of the cooperative – project supported approximately 400 people.
1991-1996: Self-employed in digital design, animation and multimedia. Created 1000-image African digital art collection (with Tammy Griffin) – sold to Corel Corporation (Canada) and Nova Development Corp. (USA). Images are being used internationally to this day and are sold via various micro stock sites.
1997-2006: Established and managed Rhodes University Web Unit – web design and training for the campus and community projects.

2001: Attended animation short course at School for Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, U.S.A.
2003: “Console” group exhibition at National Arts Festival – audio installation.
2003-4: Established Makana Musicians Initiative, which empowers unrecognized or previously disadvantaged musicians by providing access to training, facilities and infrastructure.
2004: Artist-in-residence at Steim (Studio for Electro-Instrumental Music) in the Netherlands.
2004-5: Established Studio for Interactive Sound, Grahamstown.
2005: Curated and produced Sounds Crazy interactive exhibition at National Arts and School’s Festivals, Grahamstown.
2005: Exhibited installations at Unyazi Electronic Music Festival and Symposium, Johannesburg.
2006-present: Consulting and collaboration as TnT Designs partnership: – web development, research, software development, animation.
2011: Managed Moving Things Film Festival at Outthebox for Unima SA.
2012-2015: Course instructor and materials development for GetSmarter online education company.
2015: Launched KineKapa – Multi-sensory environments for all abilities.
